I offer four types of pottery repairs, including true kintsugi (kintsukuroi) and less-expensive faux-kintsugi (you probably can’t tell the difference!).

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics using gold (gold mica on these pieces). Each piece is unique, since no two pieces of ceramics will break apart in the same way as any other. It’s wabisabi in its truest form.

Shipping is an easy way to get your broken pottery to me, or you can drop off and collect from Khandallah, Wellington. I provide instructions for safe shipping broken pottery to Khandallah, Wellington, and have never had any breakage when pottery is packed properly. Nor have I ever had any breakage in returning repaired pottery.
